since i had that attack, i am now suffering from extreme exhaustion. i go to bed about 9-10 and wake up anywhere from 8 to 11.

i can't even run the vacuum cleaner without being completely wiped out.

now they did increase my blood pressure med from 160 to 400 of diovan. i don't know if that would cause this or not.

dehydration maybe? not eating? who knows, but i am sooo tired i could keel over at any time.

what's worse is the bowel movements. my plunger is wearing out having to upstop the toliet. yuck...

this sucks. also the lyme is rearing it's ugly head, face twitches, joints hurt you name it. i hurt all over. oh yeah, right i have FIBRO....lol

Don't really have much to say - sorry - except I can relate to the exhaustion.

I was functioning near 100% and off abx.s for 4 months when I either relapsed or got re-infected. Either way I am now so exhuasted I dread waking up cuz I am so freaking tired. Like I cannot even move or lift my coffee mug that my dh bring to me in bed!

I feel useless right now...

It's like I get tired from sleeping

Sick for 7 years and counting...I hate this thing.

Re: the dehydration. I was wondering about that as well since I only drink water and no electroylte replacement. Given the nightsweats are back and I break out in a cold sweat doing anything I thought maybe dehydration was an issue.

So I added liquid Potassium and salt to my water with a squeeze of lemon. It seemed to help a bit but more with the headrushes then anything.

I too have been having widespread body pain again and it is the worst....like even my skin hurts.

Sorry for your pain - yes this thing does suck.

Better support those adrenal glands.

Eleutherococcus by Herb Pharm (1:2 formula) can really help Lyme patients.

Take a 2 week break from it every 3 months or so.

Hi randibear,

I just answered another one of your threads...

If you have a yeast problem, it could be causing most, if not all your problems that you listed. Hard to believe, but it's true.

So sorry you're going through this.

It sounds to me like it's a combination of things contributing to your problem.

BP medication can definitely cause fatigue--it might not hurt to call your doctor's office and let them know how you're feeling. Do you have a meter to check your blood pressure? Has it been low?

No food and dehydration will also cause awful fatigue as will frequently needing use of the bathroom plunger. (BTW, is there any chance that you could have a c. diff infection?)

Are you able to eat now? If so, make sure that you're eating enough protein and other nutritious foods, even if it's only a little bit at a time. Make sure that you're drinking enough, too, and not just water. Juice or tea would be good.

You're probably low on electrolytes. Remember that a magnesium deficiency can cause twitching, muscle pain and fatigue, so make sure that you're getting enough of that.

You've been through a lot, so you probably need the extra sleep. When you're that tired, your body is trying to tell you something, so don't try and overdo.

yeah, checked it. it's running 105 over 80 with heart rate of in the 70's. that's low for me cause i usually run about 130 or 140 over 90 to 100.

i don't think i have c. diff. i'm filling the toliet up over the water line. just dark brown. i hadn't been going but every couple of days.

i wish his office would call me with the results of that ct scan. they're only in my town one day a month. so waiting on that.

geez, i feel crappy. i'm so tired...gggrrrrr

yeah .. the BP meds can do it.. plus you're not used to lower BP

and not eating can REALLY do it

Be sure to get some potassium in you .. maybe a mineral supp or electrolytes.
