I take it when my body asks for it. I also take as much as my body demands and not more. At the moment this is four lemons with water and apple juice and 7,500 mg vitamin C powder.
Generally my body likes lemon after a meal or in between meals. Also sometimes I need to take some chocolate afterwards, maybe it was too sour. I take it away from abx.
Why is a lime better than a lemon?

Yes it helps the liver almost like a tiny bit of liver flush. Maybe later we can add some olive oil to the lemon.

I think chiquita's (A) is a good idea. I try to only drink water away from meals (at room temperature usually). If you drink beverages with meals, especially cold ones, it can dampen the digestive fire you need to digest your meal.
That's why in the rules of Food Combining this is suggested. No beverage with food.
If you must have a beverage during a meal, try to make it warm water with lemon. The lemon will have an alkalizing effect on the water. Or.. you can just do a warm water or warm tea if you want to save the lemon stuff for in between meals. Just make sure its warm.
The warm lemon water is what i always get while at a restaurant to have before my meal. That or I bring my own tea bags and get hot water.
