My New LLMD said he was puttong me on Flagyl but he gave me a prescription for Tindamax.

Are these the same?

I welcome any feedback from people who have used either drug and if anyone knows if there is a difference.

I also just started bicillin shots-painful.

Any POSITIVE feedback or suggestions for how to get through this?

I have been on the Lyme roller coaster for 4 years.

Thanks
L

Laurie- I got pretty bad neuropathy from Flagyl- now that is certainly not everyone's experience. I did finally ask for tindemax and it was much easier on me for that side effect. I think you have to just try them and see how you do. Cyst busting is part of the healing process. Hang in there... the Bicillin will get easier as well.

I've been put on tindamax as well but couldn't find much info for it on this site.

I realised I don't even know what it's for. Is it for Lyme only? Or does it get other stuff?

Either/or...both will put the smack down on the cysts...but as lymetoo says Tindi has less sides generally...
