I have cranial nerves palsy (all of them I think...), muslce tightness, fasciculations, shortness of breath, pain all over... All these symptoms matchan MS diagnosis and so far I've hardly ever found someone cured from these symptoms by treating lyme, they may go into remission only to relapse again few months later (which happens with MS too as it is relapsing remitting...), so what would be your advice?
Start abx again even though they have not helped me so far, or just go for the MS route knowing that one is hoepless anyway...?
Thanks a lot.

IF you actually have LYME and not MS .. and you take the MS drugs .. You will get worse.

MS drugs are mostly immune suppressants.

Not unless you want to lose the chance to get well. Steroids make the lyme go deeper.

Do you have a Lyme diagnosis?

There is an awful lot of evidence that MS is actually lyme disease. So, I would treat the lyme.

If you treat lyme, you have a chance to be well again. If you treat for MS, do you know anyone who is well from that? I don't think so. No cure for MS.

I and all of my friends (at least 5 people) got rid of lyme disease by going to lyme doctors who followed the Burrascano protocol. So, I believe that is the way to go if a person suspects they have lyme disease.

I completed my treatment 6 years ago and I am still symptom free, enjoying my life. Not everyone relapses who is treated for lyme by any means.

The doc is the key to getting rid of this disease. Can't stress that enough. The doc is the key.

No cure for MS

This is quite a powerful testimony, no cure but note that she did not mention any detox therapy either: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-qhxa-3Wbw

The dentist who removed my amalgams, himself recovered from Lou Gherig's Disease by getting his amalgams out. Others have claimed partial remission from MS by getting theirs out.

This giant reference manual (1200+ pages) has an excellent chapter about biological dentistry, with that plus much more additional information about MS, vitamin B12 injections, diet, more:

http://www.amazon.com/Alternative-Medicine-Burton-Goldberg-Group/dp/0963633430

It is not claimed in articles and books I have read, that any one thing "Cures" MS but instead is a multi-factorial issue requiring various angles of attack. Under expert and highly competent doctor's guidance, a lot can be done to contain it even if it may not be fully cured, according to the sources I have read. Cured means no trace of disease in the body. Contained means it is under control.

I recommend strongly:

Leaky Gut Syndrome can be causal, or one of the causes, according to this source:

Lymetoo is sooooo right.I was originally diagnosed with MS by 3 different neurologists...the 4th one said it was "atypical" MS.

I took Avonex for 2 years and was extremely ill from the drug. I finally got to an LLMD and tested positive for lyme. I somehow knew, deep down, that I didn't have MS.

Blessings to you!

why are you so sure it's MS?

many, many illnesses mimic one another

ms also seems to be bacterial related- check out stuff on cpnhelp.net

as TF "implied", many people who have been diagnosed with MS have Lyme...

please don't be so quick to jump on the MS wagon, many people here have provided me with very valuable info on this topic from THEIR experience

my hubby got the double dx MS/Lyme in Nov 2010- so we are in the thick of allllll this stuuuffff!

be patient and avoid steroids, please!

imagine2- i would love to connect, very confused at the moment

thanks for the links everybody!!

Clueless

bonne chance Shahbah!!
