Hi,

Daughter's ND is out of office until Monday and Pediatrician is not much help.

Daughter started 1/4 tab. of Nystatin about a week and half ago. Starting low and slow.

She has had what seemed to be die off here and there.

Yesterday, she had abdominal bloating and stomach pains for the first time since beginning the Nystatin.

Today the bloating is a bit better, but her temp is 99.3, which hers is usually 97.4.

Has anyone experienced abdominal pains etc, temp when taking Nystatin?

I get worried as back in Feb, she had back and abdominal pains and we ended up in Er, her Liver enzymes were extremely high.

Of course it is the weekend -- so any input would be much appreciated.

I looked through the older posts but did not find much on experiences etc.

Thanks

Does she still see the same LLMD? Doesn't he have Saturday hours? He wrote a prescription for my daughter for Nystatin, so he might have an idea, even if he didn't prescribe it for your daughter.

We never noticed anything with Nystatin.

Thanks JK

No this is a different LLND.

Daughter does have yeast and mold allergies, so maybe the die off is worse?

That's all she's on and she's getting bloating? I don't think it does a darn thing, but I still do it 3 times day.

Good luck. It's so hard to watch the kids go through this.
