I know that IgeneX western blot is considered more reliable or has more positive results. My insurance will only pay for tests at Quest diagnostics. I called Igenex and they are sending me a kit. I want to have blood drawn at the same time. What test should I have done at Quest?

Quest does test for Babesia (titer is set high compared to Igenex)and Bartonella, though not all species.

You can go to www.questdiagnostics.com and choese "Test Menu" on the left. It will ask you for your nearest city and then you can type in the test you are looking for or look for it alphabetically.
