My husband has been on IV Rocephin for 3 months. Although some of his symptoms have improved he has become so weak and he has lost weight. We are supporting him with many supplements and a very good diet. Is this normal? His hands and arms seem to be the worst. Any advice? Is this supposed to be happening from IV meds? Thank you for any help you can offer. I am worried about him.

I agree with Lymetoo. Lyme causes muscle weakness. I am working with a therapist who is used to working with lyme patients. She is going very slowly with me, showing me very simple things to do to build up strength.
But my LLMD said that it requires the abx to truly fix the problem.
We are pretty careful to avoid foods that contribute to candidiasis....simple, fresh foods are best. I was told to eat good red meat, too. We are thinking of buying a juicer for fresh vegetable/fruit juices. Store bought ones are full of sugar and mold.
If you are lucky enough to have a Trader Joes near you, shop there for healthy entrees to give him throughout the day. Small, frequent meals are best.
