Hi All, I hear people talking about making sure your detox pathways aren't blocked. Is this something you can test for? "Pathways" sounds like an acupuncture thing... can someone elaborate for me?

Yes, we can test our genetic ability to detox.
One test is the detoxigenomic liver test done through the Genova Diagnostic lab in NC. It tests for eight pathways in Phase I (like the bathtub filling up) and 4 out of 10 pathways in Phase II (like the bathtub emptying).
The other is through Amy Yasko. I haven't done it, so maybe someone can explain that one.
The results can help guide treatment, as in needing to treat for particular blocked liver detox pathways.
