Is anyone here on homeopathic?

I had a appointment with a homepathic doc for like 2 hours today. He gave me one pill that i have to take and go back and see him after a month.

As many pills i have popped not sure why i am so scared to take this one tiny pill?!!

Any thoughts?

I am using classical homeopathy now, yes. I think it can be part of addressing the underlying "why me" part of the equation in getting better, getting an overall healthier person, better able to deal with infections and so on.

I've studied and used homeopathy for years (since 1983). Please don't be afraid to try it - homeopathy can do wonderful things when the practitioner and patient are truely working as partners to get the patient to a healthy state.

One homeopath described homeopathy to me like this:

He said the body is going a particular direction when it is healthy. But things like infections or environmental toxins or bad genes or whatever come along and push the body off to a different direction and we become ill. So the homeopathy just nudges us back to the right direction of health that is unique to each person's body.

This is why each person has to be treated individually. Every person's version of Lyme will not be cured by the exact same homeopathic remedy because none of us here have the same symptoms, or the same characteristic of symptoms even if the label of the symptom appears the same - for example, "joint pain" - my joint pain is unique to me and someone else's joint pain is unique to them. So we each get different homeopathic remedies that match our own uniquenesses.

So this is how constitutional homeopathy works - it looks at the whole person, all their physical, emotional, mental and even spiritual symptoms and attempts to find the most closely matched remedy to the symptom-set that is unique to that person. Sometimes, it can take a combination of different remedies, given in a specific sequence, to perfect the "cure," but it does eventually work quite well when done correctly by an expert homeopathic physician.

So please don't be afraid to try the one dose. I have taken many high potency homeopathic remedies since 1983 and have only had 1 bad experience (that was when I was a child, due to an inexperienced homeopathic practitioner) that really wasn't even as bad as some of the things I've experienced since.

I only wish I could find an expert homeopathic physician near where I live.

Ok, I'll stop now, LOL. I can't say enough good things about homeopathy and I hope your experience is as good as mine has been with this unique way of healing. Take care,

I saw an MD homeopath briefly and was very impressed with the power of a tiny pill to cause a response the next day. I'd say give it a go, and don't have something important planned for the next day!

I see a chiropractor who also does homeopathy. He has me on a few things....venus fly trap, bacteria-chord, total niccolum, and deseret biologicals borrellia 1M.

I just started the above about a week ago. Not sure if it has made a difference but I seem to be tolerating it well. I do trust him as he and three of his children have all had lyme.

sonee--can you PM me your homeopathic doc? I think I will go that route once I'm done with my LLMD, although she too does this, she's just really far away.
