Has anyone tried this drug with antibiotics. Their is some cutting edge studies abt Benicar breaking down Biofilm, as well as restoring proper DNA. The drug is usually used for blood pressure monitoring, or in extreme cases, heart failure. I don't want to put something else in me unless any of you have had sucess with it. I've had enough!!!!!

I believe this is part of the Marshall Protocol.
I believe you pulse low dose minocycline with benicar. I researched this but could not find a health professional locally that could guide me. If I started herxing real badly who would I call?
I read a lot of testimonies and severe herx can be part of the experience. Also you cannot go outside much or get too much sun.
They did say that this protocol was effective against biofilms. The benicar forces the lyme out and the mino always in the system kills the lyme.
I have no actual experience with this protocol.
All the Best, MattH

When all hell first broke loose from Lyme and Co., my blood pressure spiked. So I asked for Benicar hoping to kill a couple birds with one stone. I took it at the MP dose for a while, along with minocycline and zithromax. Kinda MP-like, but never avoiding sun or D. I still take Benicar, but not quite so much of it.
Does it work. Well, I am not well. yet so we will see.
There is a lot of debate over the MP. The science is so believable. But it is a hard road, and an unproven one.

Thank you both for the input. It's so hard to try another protocol, without knowing that it is going to work. I have tried four different clinics, this seems to be the last thing. Thank you again!
