I would appreciate any information that people are willing to share regarding their experiences with Dr J and his treatment protocol. I have been on oral antibiotics for over 15 months with limited sustainable improvements in overall function and quality of life. I will be traveling to see him in DC for an initial consult shortly.

Specifically,

1. What can I expect at this first appointment? Are tests performed in DC or at your local provider?

2. Can I expect any actual treatment modifications at this initial visit? Or, does this take place at the follow-up appointment?

3. I understand that he uses a pulsed protocol exclusively. Do any of you know patients of Dr J who were able to fully recover and discontinue all antibiotic treatment indefinitely? Or, are "maintanence" antibiotics required indefinitely?

4. If IV is required, what are the logistics for folks who do not live near his clinic? Is it placed in DC or at a local provider?

Any other information that you wish to share will be greatly appreciated.

Please PM me if possible.

Thanks in advance for your input.
