ok, but it's not funny. i mean it, seriously.

this started about two weeks ago, same time that this odd pain under the arms started. i am a super clean person. in fact, i don't clean, i persecute!!! no decent bugs would even think of being around me.

but right now, egads. i have developed pretty uh, bad body odor. i'm bathing every day, switching deodorants, nothing works...and when i exercise, you can't even stand to be in the room....talk about stinky locker room odor...p-euuuu...

i called my primary and said i flat out could not wait a week for an appt and i can't afford to go the er and have them say, well you stink and your lymph glands are huge, so go home and take a bath, oh and you owe us 1600 bucks!!! no way...

my under arms are so sore i can barely move and when i lay down, there is a huge, i mean huge mass that is along the breast and goes up into the actual underarm cavity. it's soft and mushy, not hard but oh man, it hurts.

the sides of my neck hurt and my throat is sore and i'm still having difficulty swallowing.

i'm getting really worried here guys.

ok, i am a 44DDD, huge i know. but i don't think it's my breast, i really think it's something else.

course he's saying i have cancer, i'm dying, etc., really snotty, and that makes me feel worse.

has anybody had underarm pain with this strange swelling? can your lymph nodes swell? how big can they get? can you body odour change?

i'm a wreck....

well hon, i'm just scared out of my wits, what little i have left.

i've checked the web and found cancer, systemic infection, etc., you name it, so of course, i freak out. i mean ballistic type paranoia....

my appt is at 3 and i'm sitting here practically shaking i'm so scared.

if i don't post more, ya'll just assume that they told me to go the hospital asap.

i think if they send me, the insurance will pay more, but i could care less right now cause i'm hurting so bad.

Randibear,

I have this. Swelling of tissue in my neck, clavicle, under breast(s). It feels horrible, looks scary. the whole nine yards.

It is good to have it checked, I did. I had x-ray, Ct scan and bloodwork. All was normal.

mine is worse some days than others. For instance, I had an intense massage session 2 days ago and the 'swelling' had increased. For me, I think that i am not moving lymph very well.

My LLMD said that he sees this a lot and scans show nothing. He cannot account for the reason.

good luck, and I hope that your results prove nothing ominous. It is probably this stupid illness, which as you know, can cause a plethora of very strange symptoms.

oh guys, i don't know what i would do without ya'll.

you know i'm here in texas with no family and absolutely no home support, you are all i have, literally....

since my mom died every little thing sends me into a tailspin.

did they give you anything for pain or the swelling?

the doctor's office has a massage therapist right next door. ain't cheap. i think it's 135 for body massage. is that about right?

Hi, I have had swelling in the same areas. Very painful I know... I couldn't even stretch my arms above my head. So started detoxing like crazy and now they are gone. Haven't had them in 3-4 months now. I started rebounding... and dry brushing before my detox bath.

I would have it checked out but also if you can handle it rebound!!

http://www.healingdaily.com/exercise/rebounding-for-detoxification-and-health.htm

Please keep in mind that many of us should not be doing aerobic exercises so on the rare occasions when my leg doesn't hurt or too numb I only do it 2 minutes at a time... but I do it through the day!!

I've read that even sitting on a rebounder and bouncing helps...if a person can't stand.

Stop it Randibear... I'm spitting out my watermelon ice chips again. Thanks for the visual!

I don't really jump high at all (numb leg) so I sort of just gently bounce. If not then try dry brushing!

I so sympathize with you Randibear. I walk around with my hands in my arm pits because I can't stand to put my arms down.

Here is what helps me: Most important help has come from a lymphedema therapist at a hospital. I go there once or twice a week. I can't even get home without stopping at a bathroom. I don't know how her gentle treatment works, but it does. The swelling goes down very quickly. I do feel lousy for a day or so afterwards as I am detoxing.

I also take milk thistle twice a day and I soak in epson salts baths when the pain is terrible. I drink lots of herbal tea and also Gatorade now and then. I drink diet cranberry juice diluted with filtered water. The therapist said to drink lots and lots of water. She said very light massage is best, not deep tissue massage. Lymph fluid is right under the skin, she said.

It maybe from the parasite treatment you started some time ago - I would not be worried at that point now. I like the natural plantation spray, it draws everything out but you can use only one drop the first day, it cleans the lymph and kills parasites at the same time.

www.naturalplantation.com/super_underarm.html

Only one drop under only one arm the first days!!!!

What about trying wiping down with 50% rubbing alcohol? It can remove odor.

I sure hope you get some help. It sounds horrific, like an infection of some sort.

I smelled at the beginning of treatment because I had such a huge die off and I was eating gobs of meat which just adds to the toxins that need to be eliminated. I don't eat read meat any more.

Eat a lot of fresh vegetables and no meat to see if it helps you detox. Maybe some supplements for detox. I hope this gets better. Sounds miserable.

Chlorophyll may be very helpful - it can help clean the lymph system and also deodorizes the body.

I am somewhere close in bra size...rebounding....
Don't quite know what that is, but it sure would be a sad side effect to a Lyme treatment....

oh, randi I know exactly what you smell like. This came up with me early into tx in 99-00.

If I knew what I know now, I wouldn't start with reg doc. Well I'd be surprised if they could help?????

I would find me the recommendation from above poster about ammonia supps removal.

I would find me the best lymph drainage person in your area and start immediately having someone work on lymph nodes in your neck and breast and underarms area.

Yes a tampoline with big knockers isn't going to be comfortable for you. Especially since you are sore with blockage in nodes.

Randi, are you sure you haven't been re-infected with some unknown blood sucker in the last few months. You sx have been in flare mode for awhile and I think something has changed in you or new infection?

You are having some major stuff. I remember you did some yeast detox or kill stuff. Didn't you also try some abx before that?

Or could you have picked up some new mean SOB?

Pam

i'm not sure. i don't think i've been reinfected. it just seems since i tried that humaworm and i only did it for one week before i had to stop, it made me so sick, that's when things went all to hell and back.

i'm wondering if the humaworm just stirred things up more than my system could handle and it just crashed totally.

i've been doing hot compresses under the arm, lots of empsom salts baths and drinking tons of water.

it seems to be helping, cause i am not near as bad as i was, still slightly stinky but not reaking.

also the doc put me on that ceftin and has run all kinds of bloodwork.

i get the final results on tuesday and i'm going to ask for a copy.

i did the humaworm because i just kept reading about parasites and thought, wth, i'll try it. but i actually had never gotten a diagnosis from a doctor or anybody.

in fact, i would recommend no one try humaworm until they have a firm diagnosis of parasites.

my underarms are not as sore maybe cause of the ceftin, i don't know, but the swelling in the sides of my face is down also, so could have been infection, just don't know.

i have to be on the ceftin for 10 days. maybe they'll call me with the tests results or ask that i come in, don't know.

just waiting to see what he says.

still think i should be on difulcan tho.
