Backstory: Had Lyme about 9 years ago. Got treatment and doing fine now. Current: I recieved three tick bites back in March of this year. LLMD gave me a month of Doxy as a precaution. Just finished the abx but my bites are still there and itch like crazy when they get bumped or messed with. Has anyone ever had this happen? How long till they went away?

Yes, I have. It took months. Maybe 6-7 mths before I had my voodoo doc give my body tx and it never returned.
It was Lone Star nymph tick that got me. That was in '05. To this day I will start itching in that area it bite me.
I always look to make sure it's not another tick. It's not. It's just the site of tick bite.
I think, but I don't know this for sure, but I would bet money on it....it's bartonella that was deposited in my skin by that nasty sob.
