Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone had a Phillip Stein watch. Its the watch Oprah always wears and recomends. Its suppose to transmit a frequency that helps your body relax and help with sleep, pain etc.

Theyre expensive, but I'm in the market for a new watch anyways. Anyone?

I have one, it is helpful for me. I am very sensitive to EMF's and have a number of things to help with that--the Philip Stein watch, EarthCalm products (home protection system and pendant) and GiaWellness products (home harmonizer and pendant). I find that they all help me, they all do something different.

GiaWellness products randomize the EMF's so you are not exposed to just a point frequency, but more of a variety of frequencies. The cells shut down less when exposed to a variety.

EarthCalm products add something to help connect you to the earth's frequencies/grid (Schumann frequencies).

Philip Stein watch adds Schumann frequencies.

So they all work together, in a way. Right now, I am finding the EarthCalm products more powerful and helpful, meaning if I had to choose just one, I would chose those products. However, these products I recently purchased, just a couple weeks ago, whereas I have had the others for months. Sometimes new things are very powerful and helpful at first, and then their helpfulness reduces as one might have been really needing them. So, it also could be more helpful for me as I have got them more recently. Only time will tell on that.

I LOVE my Philip Stein watch!!!! I bought it when I returned from Germany for its EMF protection. I have been wearing it or something else with frequencies 24/7 since I returned in Nov 2008.

I also have a power balance band that is much less expensive that I wear in the summer or when I'm working out.

My daughter wears a blue emfblues bead. She is so sensitive to emf's that she can't go in her school without her bead on. When she has a dressier event, she wears my watch (I have two of them).

So, yes, I have had benefit from it. But, I don't know that it's the only way to get frequencies .... yet I wouldn't part with mine.

Whitney, I always found that things I can't stop thinking about are generally things that work well for me, whether a med, an herb, a watch, whatever.

This is new to me too.

I googled a little and see there are bracelets, but not sure if it's the same. The watches are so expensive. (and I like my k-mart watch).

Does anyone know if these are a good substitute?

EMF stands for electromagnetic field. These things are generated by things such as the standard electric wiring in buildings, and by various pieces of electronic equipment. Some are not the fault of humans--such as the Schumann frequencies generated by the earth--these are also EMFs.

Some people are very sensitive to these EMF's. They cause all sorts of problems. Make a list of any symptom you have ever heard anyone complain of, and now you have a list of symptoms that EMF's might cause. The percentage of people with lyme who report sensitivities to EMF's is, I do believe, larger than the percentage of non-lymies who are sensitive, so this is an extremely important issue for everyone with lyme (although it is an important issue for everyone).

A type of EMF called microwave radiation is also generated by wireless devices like cellphones, cordless phones, wireless routers, wireless laptops, and so on. This is the same type of EMF generated by microwave ovens--that's why they're called "microwave" ovens. While it is relatively common knowledge that microwave ovens are dangerous for anyone exposed to the radiation (such as whatever is put inside them when they're on), somehow people have managed to be brainwashed into thinking that the microwave radiation from wireless devices is safe. The World Health Organization, just a few days ago, reversed its position and acknowledged that they are dangerous. So this must mean that the corporations in charge of WHO feel they can do whatever they want even if WHO publicly acknowledges this.

Marz--There are MANY MANY products out there. They are not all the same, or close to it. What brand of bracelets ar you referring to?

Just an example, Michael:

http://www.bionicbandblog.com/

They claim it has the 7.83 hz frequency which is what the Phillip Stein watch has.

Not familiar with that product, but it might produce essentially the same effect. The 7.83 is the Schumann frequency.

The Philip Stein watch I have has two diodes on the backside of the face, so they touch your skin as you wear it. The watch operates on batteries, but really I don't know if that's just for the time or for the diodes as well. Perhaps those bands are a little different in those respects. I think with so much of the stuff, the way to find out if it will be good for you is simply to try it, and so the opportunity to return the product for a refund can be useful.

I did a little bit of reading up on this and now I'm wondering if this could be contributing to the problems my son is having.

He isn't going to wear a bracelet or necklace obviously but I'm thinking I may just buy a product and try it out. Any suggestions for something to use with an 11 year old boy?

The earthcalm company has some products designed for kids. Not sure what makes them different, weaker? Anyway, their pendant they say can also just be put in the pocket. Both earthcalm and gia wellness have home systems that plug into the wall.

MichaelTampa, the older Philip Stein watches have teslar chips, the new ones have different chips that have more frequencies. The teslar chips require the battery, which is why there are two faces (they found people needed two chips for the benefits). The new chips don't require a battery.

I think they still require a battery-- I did get one, and it has a battery.

Also phillip stien sells some with only one dial....do you not think those work as well?

Hi,

I don't know anything about this... so how do I find out if I'm sensitive? I feel like I should get one too!! But I'm not a jewelery person, I don't wear anything except my engagement/wedding bands. Plus I'm very petite for I would need kids' size... what do you recommend?

Will a small bracelet work?

The watch part requires a battery. It used to be the chip stopped working when the watch did. Now only the watch stops working when the battery dies, but the chips still work.

So are you all using this for the health benefits or to tell time?? Because I just looked at them and they are hard for my Lyme brain/poor eyesight to see... so if I were to get one it won't be for telling time! Lol. Do the bracelets or necklaces work as well?

ScorpioGirl -- not sure what bracelets/necklaces you are asking about. If you're asking about Philip Stein product, I did not know they had that, I have a watch, so can't comment on that. But, if you meant other products--I find the EarthCalm and GiaWellness pendants both very helpful for me, moreso than the Philip Stein watch. But all three of these brands' products are helpful for me -- they do different things.

Hi MichaelTampa,

So you wear different things at the SAME time? If you have to recommend one thing for me to try which would it be? I don't like wearing heavy things so chances are I won't want to get a watch. Small bracelet or necklace might be ok... thoughts? Thank you!!

Yes, that is what I do -- all of these at the same time. I do feel that they are all helpful for me, and working together rather than interfering with each other. I know I am extremely sensitive to EMF's -- it is my number one symptom -- so they are well worth the money for me.

If I had to recommend one of these types of things to someone, without the ability to energy test what might be best for them, at this time I would recommend the EarthCalm products. I have only used them for a few weeks, and used the other ones for longer, so it is always possible my opinion would change over time. EarthCalm makes a variety of products -- pendant and home protection system and other ones. I have no experience at this time with the other ones. The pendant can be worn as a necklace or anklet. The home protection system does not involve wearing anything, it is a plug-in device, can be used in home or office. For someone wanting to try just one thing, perhaps the pendant makes more sense, as it can be with you always, versus a plug-in likely will be in home but then not there if you go out.

There is the matter of how much you can afford and how sensitive each person is, affects how helpful these things are for you and how many things it is worthwhile to get.

KS-- a bit unnecessary. This is an adult conversation.

Just so you know phillip stein does have double blind tests done proving scientifically the effectiveness of their watches to increase people's "calmness" and quality of sleep.

Has anyone tried the bracelet or necklace and did it work for you? I don't think I want a watch... but I'm interested to try one product. Thank you!!
