I think Bartonella is 90-100% of my problem. Been doing great on this new protocol. However, I have constant feeling like bugs are all over me and biting, yet nothing is there when I look.

Strange, anyone else? Other than that, doing great.

I wonder if this can be added to bartonella herx list.

I get that too! Mine seems to coincide with when my anxiety is really acting up.

I relate that to lyme bacteria. I could be wrong but I don't think so.

After I quit abx, heavy duty detoxing programs, used rife for lyme for a couple years, had a couple different alternative doc and healers work on lyme......the bugs under my skin went deep and I couldn't feel their sensations.

Now when I have the monthly lyme flare or when lyme bacteria thinks it's safe to come out, I have the crawlies, but I'm pretty quick to get them running or dying.

So from my experience it's borrelia bacteria. I don't know if it's the spirokete itself or the fact that this bacteria causes tics in the body and of course a bug like feeling under the skin????

I had bad neuro-lyme for years. Neuro-lyme is way down my list of issues because it's not prominant(sp) anymore. do a search on this site on creepy crawlies, bugs under skin or other ways to define it and up pops hundreds of posts.

I have something similar to this. I'll have an itch sensation and when I itch, it doesn't resolve it. Something is under the skin. Yes, very weird.

I think my lyme is pretty much gone. Next up is Bart. I think it could be either infection causing this.

Parasites usually cause this symptom because they are being attacked. They actually do bite but you can't see them because they are under the skin.

Anxiety is on the symptom list for parasites. When i did the salt/c protocol, I started to see exit points on my skin because they run from the salt.

Dr. K states in a recent conference that Lyme is secondary to parasites and they need to be treated first because they are carrying and protecting the bacteria, fungus, viruses etc.

Parasites and the good thing is they can be treated so fast, much easier to get better than with bartonella.

I had this for months. it felt like there were bugs crawling in my ear! It was so maddening. I also felt like i was being bitten all over. Once I started treating for Bart, this went away. I hope it never comes back.

I might buy the parasites but in my experience I don't think so.

I did parasite tx. That did not end my bugs under my skin. So....

I always believe I have bart and now I've come to realize I might have babs too.

I do not have bugs under my skin today unless I'm in a lyme monthly flare or when I took rifampin for bart and got lyme bacteria so ticked off it was raging and trying to fight me.

I attacked the nasty lyme bacteria with rife and killed or chased them deep back into their hiding hole.

Gang, I can only tell my experience. I certaintly don't know all the answers. I'm still living this nightmare. I'm not dying, I've got the upper hand on all them most days.

But I do what has happened in my 12 yr old experience with these monsters and they will not beat me in the end.

I will get you my pretty. Wicked witch in Oz line. Nothing pretty about them I usually call them mean and nasty names like son of a gun(B).

This is a typical symptom of peripheral nueropathy caused by nerve damage. The nerve damage can be caused by infection, diabetes and other things.

I had a really severe case of it and it went away with doxy so it can be healed. The crawling sensation and feeling like I was being bitten all the time drove me nuts.

I hope your treatment clears it up.

Agree with Terry

And Bart causes MAJOR nerve damage (hence the twitching, tingling, numbness mostly associated with Bartonella)

Please share your info on treating parasites fast. I have been treating them for 9 months.

Parasites can take a looong time to get rid of. I personaly don't know of any quick tx. I have been doing antiparasitics off and on for the last 5 yrs.

It has taken me that long to get rid of them, but the only thing that has helped push me almost into remission.
