Who has treated BAbs with Malarone? Has it helped? Is it an effective drug?

I did both malarone and mepron. I did malarone for 6 months, then switched to mepron.
I can't say that I felt any different on one versus the other.
It was the duration that I took them that I think helped me.

I am taking Malarone with Clindamycin. The Clinda kicks my butt but the Malarone without the Clinda just helps me to think more clearly. It's one med that does not give me a herx but makes me feel better. It can make me fatigued sometimes.

I take both Mepron and Malarone. Have been taking the Mepron for three months now and just started the Malarone about two weeks ago.
You are supposed to take both with fatty foods.

You shouldn't take it with co q10 and some say alpha lipoic acid or vitamin E.

excellent. Thank you. I'll give you a quick update. I took my first dose about 3 hours ago. Since then, I have been sweating quite a bit, having flushes (my ears get incredibly hot) and a ton of chills and brain zaps. I think this is a decent clue that I have Babs. I have not taken Malarone with anything yet. I suppose when I have my appt on Monday, doc will prescribe more stuff. Anyone else have a prompt reaction to Malarone?

I took a couple of malarone tablets for a few months. I did okay, and I don't think I have babs anymore.
Some docs prefer malarone over mepron.
