Tested positive years ago, but have unexplained hyponatremia, body can't retain salt. I read that 40% of ehrlichia patients get hyponatremia, 20% mental confusion. I live with both. confusion could be anything from anxiety, lyme/cos/ depersonalization, but no docs can find the cause of my hyponatremia. Chronic ehrlichia? Heard that can be cut off with antibiotics, which I've had enough of. Thx

Yes, ehrlichia can be chronic. And it can be resistant to the antibiotics.
Hyponatremia may be secondary to poor adrenal function - recommend getting your doctor to check your adrenal hormones (cortisol, DHEA, etc.).
