I have heard both good and not-so-good things about GSE. Good: Kills Borrelia in all its forms. Bad: Interferes with other meds. Also bad: The preservatives used in GSE are what make it work, and one of the preservatives is carcinogenic.
Please share your knowledge/experience with GSE. Thanks. -Paulie

It's STRONG. Herxed something fierce. Acid reflux flared the first two weeks--take with food and preferably something like aloe vera gel (capsule or drink) to heal the stomach/gut. After that I was okay.
Made my Lyme cysts (which I didn't know I had at the time) convert to regular Lyme form, so it def works. Also treats candida overgrowth so will help keep that in check. Doctor said to take it away from probiotics.
Never heard anything about preservatives making it work. You want the seed extract, and if your stuff (anyone's stuff) is loaded with preservatives and fillers DON'T TAKE IT.

I don't seem to have any problems with Pure Encapsulations' GSE vegetable capsules, one with food twice a day, which I have taken for a few weeks.
I am trying to address a difficult stomach issue, but am taking this with other things [uva ursi and oil of oregano], so can't comment fairly on the efficacy.
I have seen some improvement this week since starting oil of oregano [Dr Clark's Store], but it is early days,
