So...just got back from an appt and the doc told me that parasites were an issue. I am supposed to take 2 total para pills a day.
I gotta be honest in that I am a bit nervous to even take these pills as I don't know what to expect. I couldn't find any info using search to see if anyone else took these before. But would imagine the reactions would be similar to other anti-parasite treatments.
What to expect? I'm assuming there will be some sort of die off reaction and am wondering how bad these types of reactions have been for other people. What types of symptoms to expect? Is there anything I can do to lessen symptoms if they do get severe? I am still working 40-50 hours/week and am curious if this is going to interfere with that? Am I going to see crazy things when going to the bathroom?!?
Ack! I'm getting nervous just typing this out. I don't think I've ever been this nervous about taking a pill before! This is crazy. Help.

What is the name of the Para pills your doctor gave you. Did he tell you what the parasites were? Were they identified by a lab or by ART testing.

Actually, I could but it was overwhelming. There is too much information and so many threads and I didn't have time to read through all the info. I come on here sporadically throughout the day only for a few minutes at a time. I just thought it would be easier to ask.
I'll go through probably later on this week when I have time.
The pills are called Total Para...that is what I didn't find mentioned on the site when I did the search.

The Total Para are just a brand of antiparasitic herbs that you can buy on line.
When I looked up the ingredients they had some good antiparasitics, but didn't contain any cloves which is important to kill the eggs.
Whenever I start anything new, I always take a lower dose to start and then work up from there.
You can start with 1 cap a day and work up from there to see how you react. One months supply is not enough to knock out parasites.
