on my blood tests? I just got every blood test I have had since August 2005 (almost 100 pages) and was wondering if I should be looking for specific abnormalities on them. Here are a few examples of what I have found so far:
-Western Blot , Lyme AB IgG, 41kD=reactive, that was the only recative band (2007) -went to ER in 2009 with a distinctive bull's eye EM, tests = negative, given 10 days of oral doxy -homocystiene levels run low -MCV and MCH run high -MPV runs low -TSH alternates low and low/normal -Vit D=low end 17-34 while taking 4000 iu daily -Urinalysis=occult blood +2-+4, bacteria, crystals and neutrophils -Vit B6 plasma=53 (ref range is 2.1-21.7) -EBV=3 times higher than norm -HHV6 IgG=1:320 (range is less than 1:20)
There are some more, but these are the most tested and abnormal ones. Thanks for any info you can share with me. I have also been thinking for about a year that my skin reminds me of my grandmothers and she was 80 years old. It is thin shiny, almost hairless and my actual hair is so thin I'm thinking of shaving my head and tattooing my scalp! Just kidding....

Just a quick thought when seeing these results. I'm on my way to town or I'd talk your ear off. Lucky you!

See if photos here look like anything you've seen.

Low hemocysteine high MCv MCH means low B12 ,urgent take B12 preferably sublingual or IM better.B12 works together with B6 no B12, B6 can be accumulated so take B6 to .I bet you have all vitamins and minerals depleated so take allot of them without them every cell and organ can be badly damaged so act quick.Take D vitamin 10.000 a day till your level goes to normal range.Go out in sun that is the best vitamin D that body gets.Take antibiotics for bacteria take something for viruses(artemisinin good for HHV6,garlic.OLE,oil of oregano ,lauricidin at least 2 from this group) before they damage any major organ. That lab is telling you to act fast.
Take care

TinCup, my 14 yo daughter would like, totally disown me, hehe. My hands look like a few of the ones in the pics, including the knobby knuckles, my chest looks like the reddish, bubbly one, my knees have the same appearance and I get the little blister-like things, mostly in my scalp, along my hairline and some on shoulders too (they are not zits either). My 13 yo son has the purple/red welty lines and he had an EM about 2-3 years ago, treated 10 days with amoxicillan (I think).
Maradona, I take 4000 iu of Vitamin D daily, started with RX Vit D, 50,000 a week I think then went down to 4000 iu a day. I had stage 1 melanoma 2x, Oct 2008 and Feb 2009, so sun is not my friend. I do try to sit for a few minutes, but not much longer. About the B12, my doc told me it was fine, but I am seeking 2nd opinions on, well, everything.
I am going to start searching for a LLMD on Monday, maybe I'll get some answers soon. Thanks for both of your help.

You may be over-methylating (because of the low homocystein), so yes I agree the B-vitamins are critically important. But don't use the methylcobolamin form of B12, better for you to use hydroxycobolamin. You also should get a B-complex that uses both the regular and the co-enzyme forms of B vitamins for easier absorption and it will help balance out the methylation cycle.
B12 blood test normal range in the US is not very good...want a B12 level that is above 500.
Cranberry extract or cranberry juice (preferrably unsweetened) is good for clearing bacteria from the urinary tract.

mom2kids,
So glad to see folks jumping in to help. These guys are great, aren't they?
I MUST first say I am sorry, but when I got part way through reading your reply to me describing how you looked, this is what popped in my head.
NOT that YOU look like this, but ...
Ya know, actually I don't think I should say anything more. I feel I'm digging myself into a deep deep hole about now. HA!

TinCup, welp, I dunno, I'ma kinda askeered to send you any pics...LOL! Love Bill Engvall (sp), so I'll still speak to you. I'll have to have one of my kids help send the pics so it may take a day or 2 until they can pencil me into their schedule. And yes, people are very helpful here and I am grateful for that, that and the sense of humor...
