I know about no dairy w doxy, or 2 hours away from it, but what about other abx? I am now on biaxin and amoxicillin and flagyl (and it's killing me) and there's nothing about the dairy thing on the info sheets. Does anyone know if it's the same for all classes of abx or just tetracyclines? Thank you!

My doctor said not to worry about taking amoxicillin with dairy products. He said it's mostly for the tetracyclines.

Whenever you are prescribed a new med or need to take an OTC med, it is a good idea to run your list through a drug interaction checker. It will tell you if there are any drug-drug or food-drug interactions.
You can also call up your pharmacist. They are great references for whenever you have a medication question.
