I never read the Times but someone happened to leave it in my office so I opened the Science section and it was like I was meant to see this article.

Scary, but relieving too - that the government is taking notice of babesia - maybe it will lead to the government recognizing that lyme is a chronic infection too.

That was interesting. It is good that they recognize it is serious and life threatening and hard to treat "in some people". No so good they are dismissing it as very rare.
