My wife must take Vitamin B for addrenals per Dr. H. Very serious problems right now. The problem is she has a very hard time tolerating Addrenal Support formula due to high Vitamin B content. Any suggests to help tolerate, foods other etc.
Thanks

She may tolerate coenzyme B vitamins better than the regular B complex.
Foods rich in B vitamins include meats, whole grains, legumes (beans), and a few other foods. Unprocessed foods have more vitamins than processed foods.

The methy cycle mutations are very complex. I recommend everyone get tested because it is so individualized. It could be she cannot assimilate the type of B vitamin that is in the supplement and that makes things worse.
For instance if she has trouble assimilating B12 and you overwhelm her with a B12 that she cannot use, then her body cannot pick through all the worthless B12 to pick out what she needs, so she gets worse. There are many different forms of B12 and what you need depends on your specific mutations.
MTHFR is more associated with folic acid. Normally you supplement methylfolate but you might have "too many methyl groups floating around" and need to get some other things taken care of before you can use methylfolate.
Some people with mutations cannot handle B6. It goes on and on. This site explains it all but it is very difficult to understand.

TRY BREWERS YEAST a/k/a NUTRITIONAL YEAST
(Recommended by the very popular nutritionist Adelle Davis, who passed on in the 80s.)
Yeast is the best NATURAL source of Bs I have ever used! I can actually "feel" the energy.
You can mix it into smoothies or simply make a paste of the powder with a little honey and add milk - tastes something like a malted.
For FOLIC ACID - Eat cooked spinach, egg yolks - two excellent sources, but you can google more.
