I had a little episode yesterday. I have been taking Mepron, which at first was doing nothing, but yesterday and the next pulsing day before that, it made me feel absolutely gross. I laid down and faded in and out a few times throughout the day.

However, despite my exhaustion, when 11pm came around, I was having MAJOR anxiety. Felt like all of my insides were shaking. I could not sleep, let alone lie still.
I got very hungry all of the sudden. It did not feel like normal hunger, it felt like if I didn't eat, I would die. I ate a bunch of handfuls of Blueberries, and then a peach and then a bag of almonds.

Finally I took some Melatonin, which still took an hour to knock me out. I of course couldn't wake up today, but when I did, I could feel some of that anxiety crawling back...

is this "sleep anxiety"? has this happened to other Babs folks?

Anxiety is common with babesia and got worse for me when I started Mepron. Mepron also causes insomnia. Your anxiety should improve. Mine was gone in about a month. I was depressed too and that also went away.

I did not have much trouble sleeping at first but later I had to use a sleeping aid. The LLMD gave me seroquil in 25 mg pills. I only need about a quarter of one of those. Some people say if you take the Mepron several hours before bedtime (around the time you have dinner) it will not cause insomnia.

A herb that helped me for a long time was corydalis root. It is in Zhang's HerbSom formula.

Haven't had a problem with meph, but I'm not pulsing it, I'm taking it twice a day, every day, along with zyth. I am taking some artiminisin and clats claw though (think it helps).

I'd like to add art. I should probably talk to LLMD first.

So both Babesia and Bart cause anxiety? Interesting. I'm treating both, so who knows what is doing what... I do know that the Mepron is doing something...

I just had an episode like this. On month 3 of treating with Mepron and pulsing. I always felt like I needed to eat something or I would pass out. Then I got hit with fatigue for 5 days really bad, like I couldn't move. I posted on it a few days ago, it was under "worse fatigue ever, herx or worse?" I don't have anxiety with Babs, but my Bart symptoms are now coming out and causing anxiety.

I was freaked out, but it passed and resting is the best thing you can do. Im hoping that was the last of those herxes I will see, next month will tell.

I'd be afraid of getting yeast eating all that fruit.

My doc didn't allow fruit. Neither does Burrascano. Too much sugar.

something was wrong with me. I felt like I was going to die if I didn't have it. Normally all I eat is crunchy apples.
