The Capital Region Chapter of the Empire State Lyme Disease Association will present Susan McCamish, Board Certified Naturopath, as guest speaker at its June 23 meeting. The presentation, entitled "More Than Just Microbes" will be held at the Redeemer Church, 183 Schoolhouse Rd., Albany. Doors will open at 6:30 pm. The presentation will begin at 7:00 pm .

Ms. McCamish's work centers around the understanding of how to build, enhance, and support the body's own immune system using particular protocols Ms. McCamish has developed. The lecture will include various health issues and highlights of her unique individualized programs. The program also explores solutions designed to defend against various common health-related problems and pathogens. Ms. McCamish credits the success of her program to its primary goal, which is to work in harmony with the bodys natural ability to fight disease, build immunity, detoxify impurities, and maintain an optimal level of health and well-being. Discussion will be given to heavy metal toxicity, microbial issues, viral issues, enzymatic activity, mineral depletion and mineral imbalances, and approaches to building immune response

Ms.McCamish's areas of expertise also include: extensive study in alternative medicine, neuromuscular testing methods, and the research and development of herbal extract blends. These blends work with various imbalances in the body. The herbal products she created are being used by many healthcare professionals in both alternative and allopathic medicine. A brief overview of Susans exclusive blends, which are distributed by Beyond Balance, Inc., will be highlighted in the presentation. Susan McCamish is certified by the American Naturopathic Certification Board (ANCB) and is a board certified Naturopath with the American Naturopathic Medical and Accreditation Board (ANMAB). Susan has been a practitioner in the field of nutrition for over twenty years.

The presentation is free and open to the public.

I know quite a few on this board are using the Beyond Balance blends, but has anyone worked exclusively with this practitioner one-on-one or through her private practice?

Would love to hear your experience--good or bad! (You can PM me privately if you'd rather not discuss here.)

Also, does anyone know if she will be speaking/presenting elsewhere on the east coast closer to MA/NH?

Thanks.

I went to this tonight. It was informative and addressed the info mentioned in the post by KarlaL.

There was a local pediatrician in the audience that I wanted to say hi to but didn't get a chance. Her initials Dr. B (sure some of you will know her). She uses Susan McCamish's herbal extract blends w/ patients. She also mentioned that the other Dr. B in NY uses them as well.

I took notes so when I get a chance I will try to post some high lights. I bought the Lyme Diet book while there. Glad I went! Thanks Karla for posting!

Anna, if you have the chance to post your notes and further thoughts on this herbal protocol, I'd love to read them.

Thanks!
