Hi Ladies,

So, let me start by telling you that my period came last week, June 20th (on time for 3rd month in a row [Smile] ) and ended on June 24th.

Nothing abnormal after that until today. I just took my evening dose of Rifampin and then drank some water and went to the bathroom. I noticed my pee was a little orange-y red, which is normal from the Rifampin. But, then when I wiped, I had brown colored diacharge. It looked just like the dark brown-red discharge that comes out at the end of your period...except my period ended 5 days ago. There was no blood in my urine stream or anything like that.

The only thing that makes today stand out from any other day is that I saw my LLneuro and had an EMG done. I am pretty sore from the needles that were stuck in my back/ neck (cervical spine area) and I literally felt like I was being paralyzed when she was doing it, it hurt so bad. But, that's it. Could that have caused this? - I doubt it but wanted to see what you think?

Also, would that brown discharge classify as blood in urine? Is this something I should be running to the doctor over?

Please advise. Thank you for your time!

Thanks Carol! I wore a tampon last night and it was clean as a whistle this morning when I took it out! Also did not have that issue again.

And, yes- yesterday when it happened the mucous was like egg whites BUT there was brown in there. Do you think I need to call doctor or would you let it go since it hasnt happened again?
