So learning about the bionic treatment, I have a question: it seems like this treatment would be ideal for AFTER one has reduced the bacterial load with drugs.

Here's my logic: the bionic "teaches" the immune system to go after the infections, right? Well, if someone is heavily infected, the immune system is overwhelmed and maybe can't handle the bacterial load.

On the other hand, if the load is reduced with drugs, maybe the bionic / photon treatment would be good for getting the immune system to "get over the hump"?

Any thoughts on this?

I would have used it first if I had known about it and if I had been strong enough to go all the way to Germany.

I still had a very heavy load of borrelia when I got to Germany according to Dr. W's testing. He got a grim look on his face, seemed surprised, and said, "You've had this for a very long time."

It doesn't really "teach" the immune system. It strengthens the body and gives it the information to go after the borrelia.

Based on my experience, the Bionic is a great infection fighter. The biggest problem with using it early in treatment would seem to be that there are other things to be addressed .... heavy metals, dental work, parasites, etc.

Is there any place where we can get better information on how it works and exactly what it does?

There is not much information out there. My blog is exactly what I did to treat including the time in Germany.

When I studied it, I Googled tons .... I learned about studies they are conducting on near infrared light having to to with MS, children going through chemo, and that they use lights on the battlefields in the military.

I don't know that we really know *why* they work. And most of the studies and articles I found didn't have to do with immune system, rather healing.

That is super interesting especially NASA using something like it. When I wrap my brain around these links I will PM for more information.
