Hi,

I'm wondering if these are side effects of Rocephin... I can barely sleep at night, I'm waking up consistently after 3 or 4 hours of sleep.

Also, I've been really depressed. This might have something to do with the fact that I was just left in a relationship a few months ago as well. But it feels worse now. Maybe the lack of sleep also.

Another, I'm getting really bad lower back pain. Horrible.

I didn't have any problems with Rocephin. But, everyone is different.

Depression can cause sleep disturbances. it is hard being sick and having personal sadness too.

When I was struggling I know it helped to get at least 10-15 minutes out in the sun.....maybe now with the heat- that may be harder.

Call the dr about your back. Take good care, sorry you are having a rough time.

Here is some info on Rocephin and typical side effects:
http://www.rxlist.com/rocephin-drug.htm

I always get super emotional and have terrible back pain when I'm herxing. Maybe this is the same for you?

If the symptoms are new and severe then you may consider calling your doctor for advice.

I would suggest that you supplement for any symptoms you might have. My daughter, who is on Rocephin right now, takes several things for some of your same symptoms.

Gaba-anxiety
L-Theanine-depression
5-HTP-to help with sleep

Do you have a script for Actigall? If not, call you doctor and ask them to call you some in. It will help to flush the sludge out of the gallbladder.
