I wish that i could report that i am feeling better and that the abx seem to be doing the trick but the truth is i do not.
Its been 12 weeks and i know this will take time but all i have felt is worsening of all my symptoms and have even developed NEW symptoms while on treatment.
The latest and possibly greatest new symptoms i have developed are in my legs and effect my ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
I am fully aware that i could be having Herx after herx but is it normal to develop new symptoms while on treatment?? Or should i reconsider my treatment method?

Unfortunately, at 12 weeks you're just getting started. That all sounds pretty normal. I was seeing small improvements once in a while, but nothing great overall at that point.
Are you seeing an LLMD?

Yes im seeing a LLMD. when my treatment first began i was feeling an increase in energy and was beginning to feel as though the treatment was working.
After 4 weeks a second abx was introduced to the protocol and its been down hill ever since.
Scary part is i never had problems with my legs and walking until now.

I've been on Suprax and Azithromicin since May 5th and the first two weeks sucked. I started feeling somewhat better after about a month. My joint pain in my wrists and hands along with the joint stiffness is just now starting to subside. I am starting to feel like myself again and just started back at the gym which I had stopped due to the lack of energy and fatigue. I see my LLMD July 28th and he does have two more refills on those antibiotics so I will be on them for another two months. But all and all they are working. That second abx you started is prob causing your new symptoms.

I'm at week 16. I'd had knee problems in the past, but not like you describe until I hit week 3. I couldn't walk. LLMD reduced dosages and I walked again.
We spent the next 9 weeks on the same dose, then tried upping it again. I do feel it in my knees and fingers again, but am still walking so I believe my "bacterial load" has been beaten back enough to where I could handle the higher dose again.
In general, what has made a huge difference for me lately in symptoms overall has been getting weekly IV nutrition drips. (And I am on daily supplements and vitamins anyway.) I get 3 clear thinking days out of it.

I was on oral meds for a year while my condition continued to deteriorate PLUS I developed more new symptoms! I didn't know any better then, b/c people kept telling me be patient... it takes times before you see results! I beg to differ.
An effective protocol should yield some results or at the very least stop the disease from progressing. I am now on IV medications which I felt the positive impact by day 5. Most of my pain is gone and I'm sleeping again! B/c of that I no longer need two naps during the day making me much more functional. I felt so much better I even volunteered at Vacation Bible Study where I was on my feet for 5 hours each day working in the kitchen. Before my IV meds, that would be an impossibility!
My LLMD said 3 months if you don't improve, you need to change/adjust something. 3 cycles should be long enough to evaluate effectiveness of your medications.
