so i was influenced by james case's posts on using lauricidin, and got some.
i started off with 3 pills thrice a day for 4 days. then went to 4 pills thrice for four more days.
herxed big. i wasn't sure if it was from the abx/next round of herxes, so i stopped the lauricidin. herxing stopped.
it made me herx just as hard as the abx herxes i started off with.
so i believe that lauricidin is very powerful and recommend it to people to give it a shot. i am going to start up again in a day or two. others report that it helped, and i know that we are always skeptical of the different approaches, supplements, recommendations, and with good reason! but i think this one is very powerful indeed and i am glad i bought some. so i can suggest that anyone willing to try something that is safe to your system give it a shot as well. it is roughly 60 bucks for two big containers full, and it could possibly last you 6 months.

Lauricidin works for the underlying viral involvement with Lyme. Viral involvement can be big - don't underestimate it.

I am currently using Lauricidin and also experienced a herx reaction from it. I would recommend it to anyone as a natural addition to treatment.
I've also thought about all those who are awaiting a diagnosis... I'd recommend it to them because it could possibly help increase the chances of testing positive.

GiGi,
I know lauricidin is probably hitting more than just viruses (thus causing the herx) but generally speaking when someone treats viruses they don't herx from virus death, right?
They just start getting better?

Ah, Lauricidin. Start off with ONE pellet a day and then gradually work up to one pellet twice a day, etc. Herxing or flulike symptoms can be significant. At one point I worked up to one scoop twice daily. I ran out for a month, and then relapsed a few weeks later from myco Pneu.
That said, yes lauricidin is great for viruses. My EBV titers went totally down. My HHV6 went down some (still need to work on that) I made it through the school year without getting the stomach viruses, bronchitis, and flu bugs that were circulating.
However, lauricidin does NOT protect agaist cold germs. You might want to try olive leaf extract for that.
Lauricidin is just one part of the puzzle. Keeping the viral load down is important. It is supposedly a broad spectrum antimicrobial. Who knows what bugs we have?
