I would keep it VERY simple. You may want to mention the AG's determination as you tell about ticks and coinfections.
Please feel free to use my favorite line...
""The IDSA's 2006 Lyme disease guideline panel undercut its credibility by allowing individuals with financial interests -- in drug companies, Lyme disease diagnostic tests, patents and consulting arrangements with insurance companies -- to exclude divergent medical evidence and opinion."
That pretty much sums it up.
Here is the link to the AG press release where that quote came from.

The thing I always regret not getting across is--just because someone told you that you don't have it, doesn't mean it's so, most docs don't know how to diagnose even with test results. I'm sure there's a better way to say it, but that idea.

great ideas so far. thank you...I will be considering these when I write.
The thing about other people writing for you is that they don't quite know what to emphasis, and there's always a possibility they'll get it wrong. That's why I'll be doing her a favor and writing it for her lol.
If she makes a mistake, she'll regret taking on my request! I'll be like one of those picky restaurant customers that has a million special requests. Oh wait, I am one of those picky restaurant customers that has a million special requests

It would be great to get many people on the same page, but lets be honest, if people aren't sick or have a family member sick, its out of sight out of mind.
I would love to let those that are suffering and think they might have Lyme continue on the right path instead of being put on an SSRI or a pysch ward.
