hey there,

since 3 years im suffering from lyme-disease.. since 2 1/2 years im taking ABx with a few breakes (1-2 weeks).

I made some progress.. and still making.. but there is a symptom which is really annoying me.

since 1 1/2 years im suffering from excessive dreaming.. it occoured while i was treating bartonella.

first i thought, it could be through abx-toxication but it wasnt (made a break).

after that i started treating babesia because i thought the dreams could be caused by that.. after 8 months of babesia treatment i stopped because i crashed (i think bartonella was back).. thats why im actually on bartonella treatment again.. the dreams didn't change.

i have some dark eye circles under my eyes too and i am fatigued..

i want to go on with my bartonellaprotocol for 3-4 months and then switch again to babesia with some other drugs which i didnt take until yet..

some thoughts??

I have horrible black circles and always having dreams all night long. I was told it is from the abx (omnicef). Do you use anything to help you sleep, that causes horrible dreams too.

I do not have bart (as far as i know) but was told that bart causes nightmares also. The dark circles are caused by dreaming all night long. When we wake we are exhausted from a night of being "busy" in our sleep. I actually feel like I worked a 24 hour day when I get up in the morning. Like a horrible hangover...

yes i feel like that too, especially when i dreamt a lot and intensive. im not talking about NIGHTMARES!, im talking about excessive dreaming here! i know nightmares are associated with babesia.. but what is causing excessive dreaming.. the dreams are often senseless.. sometimes funny.. sometimes more worse.. but no nightmares!

with me, it all started in my 3rd month of mino+tavanic+bactrim

I have had the same thing since starting babesia treatment. It does not bother me except now and then when the dreams become very strange. I don't know what it is but can't complain because it beats not sleeping!

I have always had dark circles under my eyes. Some say it is babesia but I think mine are just genetic.
