Hi,

I have a new strange symptom that I've been afraid to tell most people about. I didn't even tell my doctor at my last appt! I imagine everyone will think I'm insane.

I smell burning smoke all the time. It's like a phantom smell or something and I can't stand it. I wish I smelled cookies or flowers. Why smoke?? When it first came on, I was running around at work trying to find the source of the burning and no one else smelled it. *Awkward*

I was wondering, does anyone else suffer from this symptom, and does anyone know if this phantom smell thing is a symptom of Lyme or babesiosis? Those are the only two illnesses where I've gotten positive test results.

Thanks everyone,
Jennie

Ah, thanks. Didn't see that. Guess I'm not the only one after all.

I had this too! I have no idea what causes it though. Very strange that so many of us seem to have it.
