I did 3 months. It was not long enough for me. I guess everyone is different, but I think I needed much longer, as I only got worse (herx I guess) and never got any better. My insurance sent me to their own ID doc who promptly cut off my Rocephin.

same here. 2-3 months. Effects were minimal... Make sure you get this combo'd with a cyst buster. I think I might have done ok if I had been given a combo . I might be interested in trying it again unless the bugs are resisitant by now...

I'm due to go on it mid-month when I'm done w/ Invanz. I am going on it for 3 months than switching to something else. LLMD does not want me on it longer than 3 months. So we'll see.

I should mention that on my 3 months of Rocephin I also took flagyl. I had 4 days on IV, I think it was 4 gr. per day, then the other 3 days on flagyl. I felt worse on flagyl days than rocephin days from what I remember.
Just FYI, I know everyone responds differently.

I am in the middle of month four. I feel better but it has been a slow go. In each of the first three months I had some bad weeks, but each month the bad weeks have been better. From where I am now, I do not think 6-9 months would be unreasonable.

enjoy the day.
