Hi,
Trying to rule out some things. Daughter has allergies to Mold, yeast, food etc.
She began Nystatin powder and Zith about three weeks ago. Since that time, she has been getting these episodes of flushing, nausea, eye blurriness, feels like hard to breath.
She also has been getting other breathing, lack of oxygen issues too, need to talk to her LLND, about Babs.
I read online that Nystatin is made out of a mold, not one that she tested allergic to, but I wonder has anyone that has mold allergies had problems taking Nystatin?
Thanks so much for any help.

I just started Nystatin in the pill form. I'm allergic to mold too and I've been dealing with nausea, extreme headaches and neck pain and some eye blurriness and a tiny bit of chest congestion also. I haven't heard this about nystatin so I"m interested to hear what others have to say. I've been taking only one pill since Thursday and my doc wants me to increase to four but I don't see that happening.

Hi Jane,
Have you asked your pharmacist about this? They may be able to help you find the answer.
Sometimes I think pharmacists are better at knowing the answers than the Dr's do!
