My husband was recently diagnosed with Lyme and we are reading / learning about it as fast as we can..

He apparently had it for 10 (or more) years before diagnosis.

Now we begin to think every symptom we have "could be Lyme"!

Our dd is 11 and has been complaining off and on about her knee having "bubbles" in it. Could that be a Lyme or co symptom? She is the child who was most likely to have regular ticks on her.

5 years ago we lived close to a creek with woods on the other side.

We did get a rife machine and are still in the learning process with using it.

My kids were tested through IgeneX for Lyme. That told us clearly. They both had different symptoms and different levels of illness.

Yes, it is easy to relate Lyme to every body symptom.

How is she doing in school? Does she have rages at all? Sound sensitivity? ADHD type symptoms? Migraines? Dr. J's site has a good list.

A friend's son presented with knee issues initially and later more symptoms were added and then a Lyme diagnosis.

I hope she is OK.

Things are never dull. After 3 fighting Lyme, 2 are in remission. Youngest is still sick, age 22. He has new diagnosed Chiari Malformation and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome.

She does very well in school. No rages, no sound sensitivity, ADHD or headaches. She can be stubborn, but that's a trait we've seen since little on up!
During the past school term she had hurt her knee twice - she said it felt like it 'just gave way' and she fell down. She wore a brace for awhile and it cleared up. Now these 'bubbles' are in the same knee.

My daughter's lyme was in her knees. It wsas initially diagnosed as Osgood Schlatter's since it was painful. It really looked like water on the knee to me but it was indeed fluid from the lyme infection. No sense draining it because it comes back if the infection is not taken care of.

With kids, if the inflammation doesn't go away on pills, then IV's are next.

I would suggest you test and treat asap to avoid the IV route if possible.

The fibromyalgia I've had for 32 years was an undiagnosed Lyme symptom.

"For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future". -Jeremiah 29:11
