http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21842178 2011 Aug THANK YOU SWEDEN. Moving us for the truth in the science... Nearly one fourth of the children with neurologic symptoms were diagnosed with a tick-borne CNS infection (TBE, n=10 [8%] and NB, n=21 [16.8%]).

If Lyme testing was more reliable, they would probably have found even more cases. Also, no mention of other co-infections.

What does one article mean for the whole medical community? Doctors don't even read recent research.
You guys got so much good literature in the USA, it doesn't mean it's easy to find LLMD around the corner!
25% of kids with neuro symptoms test positive for tick born infections. Imagine when they really get good sensitive tests, I suspect the percentage is MUCH higher.
Anyway, thanks for posting this!

Unfortunately, my daughter first got sick in the countryside of Belgium, near Couvin! She was bitten for the first time, there...
Nice to know you enjoyed the country! I liked the people, I find them funny and friendly, when we get to know them. Sometimes they are too shy to get in touch, at first!
I hope she's having a good time there. The weather is though terrible, I found!
