Could someone help me figure out my Igenex results? Most IgMs and IgGs came back negative except for Babesia microti which was 20 and the test said less than 20 is negative. Now about the bands. Here is what I have. Does this mean I have Lyme disease or not?

You need to have two double-starred bands show positive for the test to be called positive. You have the 41 band and the others are basically IND, which, in my opinion, shows weak positive.
Did you know that many people test positive after they've had some treatment, when the body is strong enough to mount an antibody response?

Thank you all for the feedback. I came to the same conclusion as you Robin123 on the IND bands. Given these results, the positive babesia, the low CD57, the ongoing low WBC, and my many symptoms indicates there is something wrong.

If you're sick, it's worth it to give treatment a try. Lyme is immunosuppressive, so some of the sickest patients have the weakest test results... Google reasons for a negative Lyme test.

39 is very specific to Lyme!! See below for band determination
9 cross-reactive for Borrellia 12 specific for Bb 18 unknown 20 cross-reactive for Borrellia 21 unknown 22 specific for Bb, probably really the 23/25
band 23-25 outer surface protein C (OspC), specific
for Bb 28 unknown 30 unknown; probably an outer surface protein;
common in European and one California strain 31 outer surface protein A (OspA), specific
for Bb 34 outer surface protein B (OspB); specific
for Bb 35 specific for Bb 37 specific for Bb 38 cross-reactive for Bb 39 is a major protein of Bb flagellin;
specific for Bb 41 flagellin protein of all spirochetes; this
is usually the first to appear after a Bb
infection and is specific for all Borrellia 45 cross-reactive for all Borellia (sometimes
people with Lyme who have this band positive also have the co-infection
Ehrlichiosis) 50 cross-reactive for all Borrellia 55 cross-reactive for all Borrellia 57 cross-reactive for all Borrellia 58 unknown but may be a heat-shock Bb protein 60 cross reactive for all Borrellia 66 cross-reactive for all Borrelia, common in
all bacteria 83 specific antigen for the Lyme bacterium,
probably a cytoplasmic membrane 93 unknown, probably the same protein in band
83, just migrates differently in some patients

OK, how do you have IgM and IgG bands? I have only one page with bands and it says they are IgM WB bands. I also don't see whole blood PCR on my test and the doc said that would be included. I am so confused now. Isn't IgM a recent infection whereas IgG is a chronic infection?
I KNOW there is something going on and years of low WBC along with low CD57 to me indicates a bacterial infection of SOME sort, but what kind? Some websites/doctors say a low CD57 indicates chronic Lyme, others (my LLMD included) think it's chronic bacterial infection but not necessarily Lyme.
I can't see my doctor until October 14 unless he has a cancellation.

Well DUH - I guess when I scanned my test results I somehow misplaced page 3 and didn't even notice it was missing. I just found page 3 which has the IgG bands and I am positive for 39+ and 41+++.
NOW it all makes sense. LOL
