My son has to take his antibiotics three time a day. Is there a specific number of hours that should be between doses. I am trying to figure out if I need to have the nurse give him a dose at school or if I can wait until he returns home at 3:40-4:00.
Thank you

I was told 3x/day means once every 8 hours. But it is best to ask the doctor what they intended when they wrote it for 3x/day, because sometimes I've had doctors tell me meds didn't have to be evenly spaced through the whole 24 hours.
