(Edited - when first typing this I was thinking WB for LD. I don't think I have heard of doing challenges for co-infections - but have to wonder - what - if any - effect Abx would have on the Bart. and testing).
For Igenex WB - how many days off ABx is recommended? I have read 10-14 days. Three weeks. Six weeks. What is considered too soon to test and too long after? And why? The challenge does what? Bring the bugs out when Abx stopped? Or finds parts of the bugs that have been "killed? TIA.

Why test if what I see is your WB it looks pretty + to me.

I swore no more tests - but am doing one more. IVIG combined with Abx to see what happens.
I don't understand the reason for the wait after stopping Abx. What are the bugs doing while on Abx - and once off - for days/weeks after? The best days to test and why?
I have to coordinate schedules - ie stopping Abx, and IVIG before testing. Don't want to test too soon or too late. Can someone explain? The "live" bugs come out of hiding - or the "dead/dying" bugs end up in the bloodstream? If a treatment has effectively killed a few baddies - how long does it take for them to die? Once "dead" where do they go?
