Hey again ,

I am currently taking biaxin, plaquenil , mepron, and just started mini I started slow so only 100 mg a day

Since I started taking the mini I've had calf pain in both legs and some stomach issues here I am almost a week later and now my back is killing me as well as my legs I have some numbness in my fingers and occasionally in my legs and toes. Just wondering if anyone has had this type of reaction ?

I don't typically have muscle issues which, I know is weird for a lyme patient but I'm curious could this be a flare ? Any advice is appeciated .

Also the trapped gas and shooting pains around the stomach and back are ridiculous anyone ? Thanks

Hi There.

I didn't have pain in the back or stomach issues, however I got headaches and really sore and stiff neck.

For me, Mino was working from neck up. Also I got more feverish and actually felt fluish and sick.

Increase your dose slowly. Mino is known to give dizziness.

Thank you for sharing your experiences with me. It's strange because I've been on it before and didnt have these issues...

I am proceeding with caution lol

Yes, my daughter has had a lot of back pain with Mino. Started at 50, then 100, then 150, now decreased to 100.

Mino has excellent abilities to cross the blood brain barrier. Most probably the reason for the headaches and neck pain--it's doing something.
