NO WAY!!! I can't believe it!!! I've been in the basement all afternoon vacuuming up the 1-2 inches of water we found down there.

Not much is down there as we threw most everything out when we cleaned up the mold back in May.

But 20+ photoalbums were sitting "open" on the floor waiting to be wiped down. Now they're drying off.

But the Xmas decorations (all my Oma's from germany) were safe! PTL!

OK, so now I'll take a short breather and clean house here before I start dinner. A woman's work is never done!

(Side note: my daughter's good friend from down the road has had a German exchange student here for 3 weeks now. In those 3 weeks, she's experienced an earthquake, a hurricane and now flooding - all in little old Hershey PA!)

Oh, I forgot that my daughter's first day of cyber school was today and as soon as we got rollin' we lost electricity!

It seems like 17 is a different person after returning from Germany? Would this be a correct statement?
