Theoretically, homeopathic mercurius can drive mercury out of the body without the need to ingest sulfur-containing substances. However, this increases the burden on the body's own sulfur-containing components (various enzymes, connective tissue, etc.) and one may need to supplement with minerals and trace minerals to help support the mercury detoxing.

BTW, don't do this if you don't have guidance from an integrative physician or naturopath who is experienced with mercury chelation and homeopathy.
Might also want to look into methylation cycle genomics and supporting the genomic variants nutritionally before you do any mercury detoxing. Autism specialists who use Dr. Yasko's methylation protocols find that nutritional compensation for genomic variants increases heavy metal excretion, sometimes dramatically, depending on how much heavy metals the person has.
