Not long ago, I think, I saw a post mentioning the low price of epsom salt- where to buy it- and I think it mentioned you can buy a 50 pound bag of it?
I can't find the post I think I saw, so does anyone remember or know where epsom salt can be purchased cheaply?

I checked out the link James posted (thanks james!) and I didn't know epsom salts came in different grain sizes. Is it best to get fine, medium or coarse for epsom salt baths?

James,
Thanks mon! Glad you found it! I was looking in the medical section and missed it entirely!
Much appreciated!
Pam08- I really don't know what grain is best. I have purchased the salts from a docs office in the past and it was course grain.... if that helps? My guess is just be sure they are dissolved.

Manna Me...
It was you! Thanks for the tip. I just posted this on another post, but want to thank you for the suggestion.
"I also wanted to mention, after going to several pharmacies and stores and checking prices...
I went to a farm supply store and the epsom salts were, as someone suggested, much cheaper there.
I paid $1.33 per pound. It was sold in 4 lb bags. It may be cheaper in larger quantities too, but I was in a hurry and didn't ask if they could order it that way.
I also didn't ask if it was sold with lavender scent, as I could imagine the response I'd get...
"We never noticed the horses preferred lavender scented salts to soak their hoofs in over the regular salts."
