This is driving me nuts. My skin feels so hot, yet my temp is 96.7. I have no fever.
It feels like I can fry an egg on it, and I can feel how hot my skin is under my shirt, etc.
What is this? Babs? Bart? Lyme? Yeast?
Has anyone had this??
It is as if my thermostat is broken.
Currently treating lyme with Mino and Tindamax, Babs with Zith and Malarone, and A-Bart for Babs. Nystatin for yeast with GSE, Oil of O, Olive Leaf Extract.
Very frustrated

I've had this. For me, I think it was/is related to heavy metal toxicity, especially mercury. I had off-the-charts symptoms after my amalgams were removed.
Also, a big part of my problem is dehydration. So I think the two issues together set my skin on fire.
Hope you find your answers!

Hot skin can be caused by inflammation. For me this is typically a localized reaction so hot skin is not all over the body. Temperature regulation problems for me are related to babesia but lyme can also cause the problem.

I too have gone through this, but pin pointing it can be tough. Has your thyroid been checked? I only ask since Lyme seems to love to tamper with the thyroid and it really confuses our internal temperature.
Babs would have me soaking a bed with sweats but I'm not sure that's the same thing you are discussing.
I do know that for me, being on lyme, babs, and bart treatment as well as Armour Thyroid (and no, I dont' even know which one is the fix)....but one of them seemed to get that under control.
Make sure you mention it to your LLMD and hopefully he/she can get it figured out for you. Feel better soon.

If you mean it feels like you stepped into an oven, that is babesia. With duncani you do not have the drenching sweats - mostly the intense heat. It comes in handy when it is 20 degrees below zero but not so comfortable in the summer!
