Anybody out there get stuck in a cylcle where your real tired and go to sleep only to find out that you're awake in 45min to an hour. Sometimes get back to sleep ,repeat cycle 3to 5 times. Your still needing res/real sleep bad , but now you're up typing stuff like this exausted. Other times you sleep 10 hours and if the phone is next to your head you might roll over. also weird breating patterns once in awhile. Used to think certain antibiotic course helped that part ,cause it stopped for several months and is back. About 3-55 times a day. H!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanx, nonna [bonk]

Yes...

I have found a few things help some with sleep:

GABA, taken in the evening.

Progesterone (bio-identical) used topically before bed.

Homeopathic Nux V. taken in the evening, if I wake up the same time every night (works best if wake up time is between 2-5am)

Sleeping pills don't work for me and make me too groggy/impossible to wake up the next day. I still struggle with sleep, but at least not quite as badly as before. Sleep problems should improve as treatment goes along. I sleep best while I'm on Cipro, especially when first starting it (med makes me sleepy).

Breathing issues: For me, I have Asthma and it seems to like to flare between 11pm and 6am (not from reflux; happens while sitting up too). But as long as I take Singulair, I am ok.

I can so relate to the sleeping issues. Sleeping pills or xanax only work for an hour or two at best.

Where does one by Gaba?

That sleep pattern your describing is classic for sleep apnea. Have you ever had a sleep study done?
