Hey there, my fellow Lymies. I am currently on IV Azithromyocin for lyme, and take several supplements as well. I have tried LDN, and let my prescription lapse after a few months (like most of you, try to balance what I really need with what I can afford.) My LLMD wants me to try IV Glutathione. Anyone with experiences to share, positive or neg. results? Thanks.

Yes, I loved it. However I only got it at my LLMD's office, once a month. I really needed it weekly or more. For 5 or 6 months in a row, I would get my period during the drip, whether the period was few days early or late. To me, that meant it was doing something for sure, like detox.
The only detox I've had that was better was ozone therapy.

I've had IV glutathione once. Honestly I couldn't tell if it helped. I was having a good couple of days when I had it and continued to for a couple more days. Then I went way down hill and never improved. I had my first & only IV of antibiotics right after the glutathione (rocephin).
I'm going to try it again at my next appt in two weeks. If I'm still feeling this lousy, it''ll be easier to tell if it makes a difference.

Thanks 17hens, since I currently have a PICC line, it would be easy for me to infuse at home, and Infuserve is very reasonable (about $8.00 a dose). I may try a month or so. I'm also trying Tindamax for the first time along with IV Azithro, and hopeful since I've read where it is thought to be effective on cyst and biofilm forms. Best of luck with your IV therapy, Gratitude. Thanks for sharing.

My doctor had me take IV glutathione 3x per week for awhile. I was so sick at the time I didn't really notice a difference. I just hoped it was helping somehow.
Recently my doctor recommended that I try it again. I took one dose on a particularly rough day and it did help me feel better in general, less fluey, less headache, less body aches. Not a miracle but a good help. Now I take it about once a week and that seems to work for me.
I would say give it a try. It is good liver and detox support. I don't see how it would be helpful as a cystbuster or work against biofilms (would be awesome if it did!). Can you share where you read that? I would be interested in learning more. Thanks

IV glutathione helped with very much. As soon as I infused it, it had an immediate effect. Sometimes more than others.

first tiem it gave me a headache. Then after that the day I do it I feel better, but it doesn't last more than a day.
My doc just told me to be sure and take it away from IV abx infusion, as it might pull meds out of system too soon.

When I have used IV glutathione in evening (via PICC), my sleep has been negatively impacted - and I just didn't feel right. Maybe it was too close to IV antibiotic doses (it was 1-2 hrs away, but closer to bedtime).
I'll have to try in morning.

Sammy, I wasn't being too clear. I was referring to Tindamax being a good cyst buster and good for biofilms. I'll post the article information at a later date (is very late for a work night, have to go to bed).
