Yes, if your health insurance has a mail order prescription service, it is the cheapest way to get the expensive meds.
Just be sure the prescription is always written for a 90 day supply. You get up to a 90 day supply for one copay. And, the mail order copays are the same for all brand name drugs no matter what they cost! It is amazing how much money you can save.
Mepron is a big money saver. Lots of non-lyme meds too.

Anybody order from Canada for meds that your insurance won't cover? My medicare drug plan won't cover tindamax/tinizole...druggist told me I could pay for it myself..Over $1,000. I went online & see I can order it from Canada for about $200. I really want to take it..I've seen good results for other on the brain issues. I took it another time when I had regular insurance & had some of the clearest thoughts I'd had in years..woke up one morning feeling like my old self but it didn't stay - I'm thinking because I had to keep killing out other stuff.

Awesome, thanks a ton, Stillwater!
There's a chance my LLMD might put me back on Flagyl next month, and this time now I know I have a place to affordably order the tindamax at good prices! Thanks.

Eek! Thanks for the warning.
But in the case of this particular drug, I'd probably have to tell her. I couldn't have her thinking I'm paying $1,000 out-of-pocket for a rx!
This is all hypothetical still for me, so we'll see how it goes.

Yikes, tindamax is costing me a 100bucks a week, so this is great info for me. Just checked my ins. and my basic plan doesn't offer mail prescriptions, but does if I bump up plans in November. Looks like I'll be giving o'Canada a try in the mean time.

Thanks Marcie for the info. I need to get it to my sister. CherylSue- did you make an appointment with a new doctor? Corona- How much tindamax are you taking a week? We are only 2 two days a week.
