Ds, 12, will begin taking oral Ceftin as soon as we are through with Rifampin. What do I need to know about it? What can I expect (good and bad)? Any info is always welcome.

I am taking it now with Plaquenil and Biaxin. I have no problems at all with this combo. I have been on them for a little over a month and they have greatly improved my Bells Palsy and also is working wonders on my cognitive issues, really hitting the brain.

My 12 yr old takes it. They have also added biaxin. She is not having any problems with it, other than the metal test from biaxin.
Just be sure to keep up with probiotics, good yeast and possibly oil of oregano, depending on your llmd's protocol for yeast.
Actually I'm on it too. No issues. Seems more tolerable than doxy ever was.
