Hi folks:

I'm doing Dr. K's Artemisinin protocol. High dose (5 pills), 3x / day, for 2 consecutive days with grapefruit juice. 3 weeks on, 1 off.

This is my second month and I've just restarted after my 1 week "off."

ANyway...today is day 2 and I'm feeling somewhat tipsy / dizzy. Yesterday was the same.

I wasn't dizzy before starting Artemisinin.

My question is...could this be a herx / die off reaction, or is it a side effect?

I know that Dr S says in his 2009 Babesia Update how he feels dizziness is usually a sign of lyme or Babesia die off.

Just trying to figure out what's going on. It isn't bad...but it is definintely there.

Daughter took Art for a few weeks beginning of treatment.

She had lots of dizziness back then. The heart racing and dizziness seemed to lessen when she stopped the Art.

Hope it goes away for you.
